Recently I was given these business cards to make yearbook ads out of. (BRCA sells ads to help pay for its yearbook)
Here’s what PhotoShop can do to a boring business card:
I didn’t have to retype anything (except the address on the CO-OP ad). Only the content on the original cards (and refrigerator magnate) was used. [...]

Sierra Wolford has been a great help to me this summer. She is a Graphic Design student heading into her Junior year at Pensacola Christian College. The requirements for an internship are ten consecutive eight hour business days working on original designs, layouts, prepress, and other project related activities. These past two weeks have been [...]

It has changed size and format many times over the years. It also used to have a very large circulation, but postage rates have limited it to less than 2,000 copies in recent [...]

Here’s the art for the cover of the latest recording from the Ranch.
It is a very unique collection of piano, recorder, vocals, and combinations of all of these. They are arranged my Dr. Bill Rice III’s daughter Wren Watson. As the name suggests, it is a very comforting recording almost “mood music” if you will.

This is a big help. Now I can refer to this illustration and find anything I need on my desk. I’m not sure how I survived without it!

We’re having revival meetings at church in a few weeks. Pastor always asks me to make up flyers for the congregation to use to invite people. For the past couple years I’ve stuck with pretty much the same look. (We have a week of meetings each Spring and Fall.) [...]

Not that anyone cares, but I’m getting new software. The Adobe Creative Suite 2.3 will update my current four-year-old-plus programs. I’m pretty excited to be able to use the new features as well as InDesign (Adobe’s page layout application) for the first time. I don’t foresee a big learning curve. Like I told someone [...]

The Ranch received 14 used computers from a hospital in IL. Most are PIIIs with a 20GB HD and 256MB RAM. They also include 17″ CRT monitors with integrated speakers. These are by no means fancy computers but they will replace several ancient machines here around the office. Oh, They also through in 2 Lexmark [...]
